No...he means mbps. The "M" can go either way. In this case, he said 1250mbits per second...or 1.25Gbytes...it's the same thing.

Wrong. The quote is "1250mbps" in that case, that would be 156.25Mbytes. b = bit, B = byte

I made an assumption he was referring to the byte equivalent of 10G due to the fact that 1250*8=10000.

I automatically corrected the M as it's an SI unit but it's the b/B's that I was referring to.

That's right...that's my bad...I apparently was taking one of the two things here into account. It's been a long week.
