See here for the linguistically endowed.

If I understand this correctly, Mr. Jobs sync'd a Sony CLIE with a Bluetooth card with Palm Desktop, among other things, in OS X.

The 10 GB iPod is ¥62800, or about US$477 or CAD$754.

nice. maybe bluetooth could replace crappy parallel port printing. maybe. or something. really i'd just like it to turn off cell phones in church.

I'd consider getting a 10 GB iPod if it were cheaper.

As for Bluetooth, it interferes with 802.11b wireless LAN, which I have in my house. I'll hold off until they can prove to me that it doesn't screw up 802.11b too much, especially since I have little purpose for Bluetooth at the moment. My Visor synchs fine with the cradle I already have. No need to buy a wireless Bluetooth module, esp. since it's only gonna work up to a few metres away anyway. If I'm gonna be in the same room, dammit I'll just plug it in. 😛 As for my printing, parallel with my PC and USB with my Mac seem to work fine with the same printer, so I'm not complaining. If anything I'd rather have it on the LAN than Bluetoothed.

If you haven't guessed, I'm still unconvinced by Bluetooth. The 10 GB iPod is suh-weet though. 😀

10 gig cigarette pack mp3 player with great software is certainly a good thing. too bad they don't work with PCs real well. perk of buying an apple i guess.

i'd stuff the ipod in my pants like....

i wanna get my hands one on...even my hans on one...gre-tt-le.

too bad i can't afford it and my rio500 is doing me well.....it's even protecting me lucky charms.

😕

By the way, the iPod can now be used as a simple PDA, which syncs with Palm Desktop and Microsoft Entourage (which is equivalent to Outlook Express on the PC). If it could sync with the calendar and notes in Outlook on my PC, I'd buy one tomorrow.

i can buy a computer for ~800CDN....i could buy ~800 dollar things for 800CDN...is an ipod worth it?

yeah, i can listen to a lot of music without having t constantly change them on my relatively small flash media...BUT, i coudl also listen to those songs stored on my flash media, with a smaller player and better battery life, and also have ~500CDN left to spare...that's a lot of chap skin.

but i gues it boils down to how much money u have...and how many lips it takes to chap your skin.
