The $10 isn't yours until you do your first transaction, just for your info.
I tried posting this last week and my post was immediately locked, for what reason, I don't know?

You have to send at least a penny to get the $10.

Also, all CC transactions are charged a fee. Paypal became popular and now they wanted to recover some of the fees of people using it enough to be considered businesses. They should have made the limit on the # of transactions, not the amount. Like no more than 50 per 6 months instead of $500 per 6 months.

Eventually ExchangePath will realize they too need to recover the few % they are losing and do the same or go bankrupt.

They won't even send me my confirmation email. I've written to them...no answer. I've checked for typos. Who knows?

I don't think you can change your exchangepath email address. You can change almost anything even your name at the profile section except email address. I don't understand why.

Signed up, they confirmed, sent $15 to friend, only cost me $5. Hope he pays me back. Looks like there is a spot for additional/change email on My Account section, but was not operational when I tried. I'm sure they'll get it straight soon; after the "Anandtech Effect" has passed.

Hey thanks...

I've been using paypal to get allowance to son in college: Now I can use the $10.00 for a case of cheap beer.

Received my confirmation in 5 minutes :Q

I see that a CC has to be used to get the $10.00 - then it's credited to you account after first transaction.

rat323, of course there is no box after the Referring Email. This site doesn't work like paypal. You cannot refer people by entering the email address.
You have to send the referral email thru the website after you login. The person who receive the email will have a referral link with Unique referral ID in the URL. If the person click thru the link, the referral email is inerasable unlike paypal!

I also didn't get a confirmation email right away. Then I tried logging in and it said "sorry you need to wait for the confirmation email" and I got the email a few seconds after that. Worth a try.
