Mods,
As you are probably already aware CyberRebate.com filed for CyberRebate.com has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection yesterday. There have already been five threads in the Hot Deals forum alerting readers of this and another five threads in the Off Topic forum. Since most users think they're doing us a favor by posting this "urgent news" without searching for existing threads would you mind creating a thread and sticky note it up top for two or so weeks? This way everyone will see that at the top and it will hopefully prevent duplicate threads from spawning. I'm not sure if you want to close ALL the other five Hot Deals threads and have them all post in the sticky thread? Am I making any sense?
If you do decide to post a sticky thread please ask the readers to refer to the following resources:
1st thread
Complaint against CyberRebate.com which lists their phone number as 1-866-2REBATE.
MSN CyberRebate Rebate Recovery Alliance (excellent resource - all you need is a valid Hotmail/MSN e-mail address to participate)
Thank you. I will also PM and e-mail the mods in case this thread gets overlooked.
