$10 Colgate Rebate

Check the grocery coupons section of Sunday's newspaper. There is a coupon that is a $10 mail-in-rebate if you buy 2 Colgate Total tubes of toothpaste and 2 other Colgate-Palmolive products.

I bought 2 Colgate Total at 2 x $2.00 - $0.75 = $3.25
and 2 Irish Spring 3-packs of soap 2 x $1.95 = 3.90

So I am going to make about 2 bucks when I get this rebate plus I get these things with long shelf life that I needed anyways.

Some other things listed are Colgate items, Softsoap, Speedstick, Palmolive , Ajax, Fab.

Oh. Sorry. I long ago factored that out but that is another story in itself. I get Sat + Sun papers delivered every weekend for $0.92. The deal I made with myself is that I would go through the coupons every week and find at least a dollar's worth in there that I would use. Sometimes I find nothing. Sometimes I find $5 or so. I think that I make money off of having the newspaper delivered (by using the coupons) so I don't really count the newspaper as costing anything but if someone else doesn't get it and wants to count it, feel free to tack on $1 - $2 depending on location.

I buy my brushes at BigLots. Cheap, good quality, do the job. No rebates. I hate rebates...
