So we have literally BILLIONS of dollars sitting around doing nothing, yet the use of those funds is absolutely forbidden because AARP doesn't like it? Brilliant.

The use of the funds of the government should be decided by fiscal necessity, not political expediency because some blue hairs are skittish when anyone talks about "siphoning off" "their" money.

don't be stupid. so what if it's always happened that is like the worst form of justification. truth is it was possible early on in the social security game because very few people lived past 65. now it's common place and we have serious problems to work out in our social security system. don't be a complete idiot.

man, this kinda stuff really pisses me off. hey, we've always poluted the enviroment why can't we just keep doing it, never mind the fact that the pollution of 1 billion people is no where near the pollution of 6 billion people.

at least use some logic.

also, President Bush like his father former president bush, made a campaign promise and he LIED about it. saying all politicians lie is not justification for it. saying all politicians fornicate didn't keep clinton from being impeached and neither should it have.

Social Security will be bankrupt long before I get any of it so I say all of you older voters are lucky that you make up the majority and that I truly don't give a damn.. ah.. for once it's actually comforting to be a stereotypical young American who doesn't give a damn about anything..
