Not a bad looking case. Maybe a little plain, but certainly not hidiously f-ugly like some cases I've seen lately: [sarcasm] Yea, I want glowing red demon head shaped case in my living room [/sarcasm]

Glendor...

When I pulled this up, a low priced mobo/proc combo was displayed at the right of the screen. It looks like a low cost start to a file server.

The usually have so low cost cases like this. Watch for one of the $1.99 or $2.99 shipping deals that pop up every week or two. They usually only last 1 day though the last one was for the whole weekend (last weekend).

The basic chassis on these cases are pretty flimsy so they're worth about as much as it sells for. The good thing is that it has support for a 120mm fan in back, though the grill is restrictive. The Ultra Wizard case from Radio Shack was a much better deal ($10AR, free shipping) for a much better quality case, but this isn't too terrible... except for shipping charges.

Or what about the glowing blue transformer, or glowing green alien head? What's sad isn't the fact that companies are manufacturing these...

Perhaps but my kids think the glowing green alien heads are nifty .
I don't believe they are marketed towards the 21 and up crowd .

I bought this case for a cheap build for a friend...

and the case is pretty bad. It's usable, but don't expect to get a set of standoffs/screws that actually fit the holes. For some reason, they supply standoffs that are smaller than the standard standoffs, so you have to go searching for other ones. The case is extremely flimsy and the steel is pretty thin.

...and you'll probably get cut a few times when working in this case if you're not too careful.

shipping kills the deal. geeks.com have horrible shipping prices

yep, unless you order lots of things...gets a bit more reasonable when you get lots of items. I have this exact case as a divx player hooked up to my TV. Don't expect much...pretty flimsy and sharp edges on the metal parts

i have this case. the construction isnt bad. No sharp edges, mounting for a massive fan on the back. However, I disconnected the front LED's. They are just TOO bright. Its like having a 50watt bulb glowing blue on my floor. Other than that, I have no issues. The front Audio / USB are also handy, but most cases have this now.

However, if you are going for budget, why not get this one?
