My GF was able to play Borderlands with her HD 3870 and the Cat 10.7 and never found a single issue. But my brother in law has an HD 4870 1GB and had the memory leak issue, the game was using up to 1.5GB and stopped responding but the background music kept playing, reverting back to Cat 10.6 fixed the issue. Seems that the memory leak issue with Borderlands with Cats 10.7 is official, but seems that doesn't happen with all cards and/or varies by setup.

PS: About the performance of the game, it quite CPU dependant, the graphics aren't up to the task to tax significantly any modern GPU including the HD 3870 which my GF was able to max at 1680x1050 and 4x FSAA.

Yeah, I'm gonna revert back to 10.5a, as I've read on two accounts that these were the favorites for playing Borderlands. and if that doesn't work. I'll just play it on my 360.It's a console port to begin with. f'ing developers/Nvidia licensing/ATI crap-ware drivers.

I'm still on 10.5, which work fine.

Better performance would be nice for Knoxx, as i get bad dips there.

Not going to update till i hear things are fine in 10.8, etc.
