10.7 and Warcraft I, II, Diablo, C&C, Red Alert

What's the best way to go about running these? Install Win98 SE in VMware Fusion? Is there a vmtools set for win98? Or do I have to get an old school computer to run these?

Don't these run in Windows XP?

I've tried to install either with winXP or 98 in Fusion, but I've had no luck. Compatibility modes don't seem to be doing the trick.

All that stuff should run in Crossover.

Just about everything does except expansion packs it seems. FWIW, I've never had any problems playing any of the C&C games via Fusion and WinXP. Are you running in isolated or integrated mode? Maybe if you're running in integrated mode you should make a new VM just for games that is isolated.

You can also look in to sheepshaver and the OS 9 versions of Warcraft I & II and Diablo.
