Eh, I think I'd rather spend the extra $90 for the Netgear over a Buffalo. Admittedly I don't think the Netgear supports 2.5G/5G.

Yeah, if Netgear also has same type of 10/5/2.5Gbps switch, I'll choose Netgear over Buffalo.

Comcast has 2gbps service here for $149.99 so if I wanted to switch over to them I'd have to pick up something like this.

Hoping for cheaper alternatives though in the next year or two. ~$100-150 for a NIC with 2.5/5gbps, but $500+ per switch seems pricey. In my current setup I have 2 switches so not a cheap upgrade at that price.

Ah well, i'll be fine with 1gbps for the time being.
