i still need to finish assassin's creed 1... and i bought assassins creed 2 in the last summer sale but i dont want to start it until finishing AC2

are revelations and brotherhood WORTH IT? they are more of stand alone DLCs?
 
Capsized is a platformer work of art. I absolutely suck at it. It took me many deaths before I could get the hang of the controls.
 
I loved AC2 so much but could not bring myself to finish Brotherhood. It just does not have the same story weight. Should I even bother with Revelation?
 
I've not played ANY Assassin's Creed games. Have AC1 and AC2 on Steam, but never got around to installing them (damn Steam backlog!).

AC2 seems to get the most praise. Can I just start with it or do I need to start with the first one?

Also, Brotherhood - is it worth $5?

Search the forums, lots of threads already had lots of discussion over the whole start from the beginning thing or not.

Thanks...good advice. Looks like I'll pass on AC1 and start with the second one. Might read over the first plot to fill in the blanks.
