just realize that my previous thread is an empty one, anyway ..

what is the speed for 10/100 Mbps NIC ??? I get constant 10-20 Mbps from NetIQ benchmark tools. Why can't i get higher ? (i.e. 100 Mbps) Am I missing something obvious here ??? All card are 10/100 and connected into a 4 port switched router

router is DI-704, NICs are DE-530tx and netgear FA311

thanks

100Mb/sec (bit) or 12.5MB/sec. (B=Byte), is more of a theoretical speed. You usually get 25%-30% less.

Check your cables.

Try to force higher speed by checking 100Mb/s Duplex in the card property menu (Control Panel, Network).
