I don't have long distance service on my home phone, but I want to call an old friend and catch up. I'm considering just dialing 10-10-220, because of course, thats the one I know about. Are there any others worth mentioning that I can try? I would use my cell, but my unlimited minutes don't start until 9pm, and I'm almost out of regular minutes. Thanks

Why not log on to onesuite.com and get a dialing card. For 2.9 cents per minute, it can't be beat. :)

onesuite.com is cheaper than bigzoo. no monthly charges.

but you gota use up $10 in long distance in 6 months (you have to start w/$10 min at onesuite). but if you do a cost comparison vs bigzoo's .75/month fee, you only need to use $5.50 worth of long distance to break even.

6months x .75 = $4.50

$10 - 4.5 = $5.50

that's 3 hrs of talk time in the continental US. ie: talk to your friend 1/2 hr each month

I haven't really looked into it, but my dad has ordered me to use 10-10-811 for all long distance calls.
