10-10-2008 NY election mix-up: 'Osama' on the ballot

Who is running for president? In an upstate New York county, hundreds of voters have been sent absentee ballots in which they could vote for "Barack Osama."

The absentee ballots sent to voters in Rensselaer County identified the two presidential candidates as "Barack Osama" and "John McCain."

Do the votes for Barack Osama not count while the ones for John McCain do?

Doubt it was intentional. Just screwed up in their head and translated to the keyboard.

There was a Martin Luther King day event several years ago that James Earl Jones was participating in. He was given a plaque that said "Thanks for keeping the dream alive, James Earl Ray"
