I bet Oscar the Grouch got that right.

That said, I cannot watch this show again (or ever look at Bob Sagot in particular) without thinking of the Aristocrats

WTF... wow. I was amazed when 17 people got the final question wrong when that dude won $1 million (biggest card-giving holiday - Mother's day, Christmas, Valentine's Day - all of the 100 were women and apparently stupid)

Edit: Celebrity 1 vs 100? I see Oscar the Grouch.

I would probably miss that question also. I'd have to take a blind guess b/c I don't have the slightest idea what is the correct answer (without Googling).

the answer is mother's day.

I think that's what all of the women thought. There was that Seinfeld episode that said that the Friday before Mother's Day is the biggest mail day of the year, which is probably true. And I've heard that the most phone calls are made on Mother's Day, which is probably also true. But think about it - my mother receives 4 Mother's Day cards a year from me, my two brothers and my father. She probably receives about 30 Christmas cards. I receive zero Mother's Day cards, because I'm a guy. Same with my two brothers. But we each also receive dozens of Christmas cards. The correct answer was Christmas.

Edit: Yeah, there are people who don't celebrate Christmas, but apparently not enough to make a difference.

Edit 2: The guy who won looked like he was straight out of Anandtech. Stereotypical nerd, even admitted that he had never had a girlfriend (early 20s). He got it right because he reasoned it out.

For the record, I would have guessed Mother's Day too based on Seinfeld.

Yes, Christmas. Mother's Day may have the most cards sent on a single day, but Christmas cards are spread throughout the Christmas season.

This was according to Hallmark, by the way.

Edit: When I said I was amazed that 17 people got that wrong, I meant I was amazed that ALL 17 people who were left got it wrong.

Well I watch TV, I just don't watch BAD TV. and the Office is bad. I tried watching 5 minutes of it and couldn't do it. It seems so stiff and everything was so forced. I couldn't take it. I would rather watch fat people ice skate.

I don't care if you don't like the show, but to call it BAD TV just because you don't like it is idiotic.

The IMDB voting population disagrees with you: http://imdb.com/title/tt0386676/ (9.4/10)
Metacritic disagrees with you: http://www.metacritic.com/tv/shows/officeseason3dvd (85 out of 100)
TV.com disagrees with you: http://www.tv.com/the-office-us/show/22343/summary.html (9.2/10)

It's not a BAD show, it's just not your style.

And I love the "better things to do" attitude from ryan256.

Since I don't watch the office, I probably would have gotten this wrong without using one of the helps.

It's okay man, sarcasm is the most intellectual form of humor. Maybe someday you'll be able to understand the show. Judging by your username it'll be a few more years though.
