The latest DVD Shrink works great on about 75% of the DVDs I backup. It shrinks, encodes, then burns the DVDs without a hitch. The other 25% have problems... usually about 60% into the encoding process I'll get an "encryption" error that forces me to use DVD Decrypter, which I don't mind. However, that usually requires me to have to restart the process, which sucks. Is there anyway to avoid this? Anyway to simply put the DVD in, and when I come home from work know that I've backed it up successfully? Thanks.

Dvd Shrink works perfectly for me everytime. I haven't backed up that many dvds though, about 10 so it may be a bug with actual program. Try getting a older version if that worked better for you.

Personally I always rip to the HDD with DVDecrypter first, I prefer DVDShrink to access the files from there=zero issues or coasters and I've backed up at least 50 of my DVDs with this method.

Anyway to automate the process... as in, once Decrypter rips them, have DVD shrink start up and start the process? I'd like to be able to automate this in the mornings when I go to work and the evenings when I go to sleep. Thanks!
