1 regular coffee = how many decaf's?

How many decaf's would I need to drink to get the same affect as from one regular? I know it's not exactly a Nobel-prize question, but don't you really want to know?!

Um, none, hence "Decaf".

How many glasses of water would it take to get you dr*nk?

No, see - it's not completely decaf'ed. How many glasses of weak wine would you need to drink is a better question you'd ask.

No, it's more akin to how many cans of NA beer would it take to get you drunk? Technically, there is still alcohol in NA beer, just as there are a few mg's of caffeine in decaf coffee.

There is still a trace of caffeine in decaf just like there is a trace of alcohol in "non-alcoholic" beer. It's tiny but it's there.

<edit> damn - too slow

Decaf coffee is not completely decaf'ed? Thats new to me.

Since MOST decaf coffee is 97% caffeine free, that leaves approx. 3% of the caffeine in it. Therefore, approx 33 cups= one cup regular, presuming the same brand of coffee, brewed the same...

For those that say people don't ask stupid questions this thread proves otherwise.

The question isn't really that dumb. Since decaf has SOME caffeine in it, is a completely valid question.

But where do they put the caffeine that they take out of the decaf? back in the regular? Stacker 2?

Caffeine actually sells for a pretty good price, and gets put into energy drinks, pep pills, and so on.

EDIT: jagec beat me to it.
