My "friends" are idiots. Asked dozens of them whether they'd want to fill the last 4 spots for my league, and none of them bothered to even reply (so that's a no?).
So AT "friends", 4 spots left. Anyone?
Seems like you think your "friends" are dicks for not responding, and maybe they are, but I do get tired of all the fantasy sport spam I get before each sports season (I even got an invite to an EPL fantasy league, WTF?).
Here comes a rant.
Every sport works different, and every
league within those sports likes to have its own cute little custom rules.
I had a friend that did a keeper fanstasy hockey league a few years ago and he set up all kinds of rediculous custom rules for scoring. The upshot is that Milan Lucic ended being the 2nd most valuable player after Ovechkin. So the people who didn't realize how messed up the scoring was got mad and demanded a redraft. Just imagine all the email that was flying around at that point.
I'm sorry, I don't need the drama, I don't need the headaches, and I don't need to wakeup every morning trying to remember to put in roster changes. At the same time, I don't like saying no to my friends, so I usually end up in these leagues anyway, but put little effort into them beyond the draft. I guess your "friends" should have responded, but I understand why they didn't.
