1 no 80 cable detected

So everytime i boot up, at the bios start up page, I see this comment. from initial google search, this seems to be the problem that a 40 pin cable is used (either to connec the 2 hard drives or the 2 cd drives).
I think this can possibly be a reason that my cd-rw drive doesnt burn CDs properly. But the NEC DVD-RW does DVDs and Cds fine.
In any case, just to be a stickler i would like to resolve this... how do I know which cable to replace? and how do I know whts a 40 pin/80 pin cable (that is if thats the real problem).

thanks

I had this error message when I first got my A8N-SLI dlx board. Updating the bios version fixed this (I had 1002 initially, and from 1008 on the problem is no more)

more of a warning than error message. system works and boots fine.
YOyoYO's link cleared the difference. the cable attached to the hard drives is indeed 40pin. Need to replace it, hopefully the warning will go away. Pretty sure thats the cause of it.
will update this thread with my results for future reference.

btw, does anyone have any extra 80pin cable lying around?? I will pay shipping.
