1 monitor & 2 computers

is there some sort of splitter adapter that allows you to connect 2 seperate computers to one crt monitor (that obviously does not have dual inputs)? i am wanting to be able to use the monitor for both cpu's (not at the same time) without having to disconnect and reconnect the vga cable every time i wish to switch.

i do not see why such an adapter would be so complex to manufacture, but i have never seen nor heard of one.

thanks for any insight.

These cheap VGA splitter boxes extension cables, and KVM switches are notorious for causing ghosting or streaking on the screen. This type of problem always gets worse as you increase resolution or refresh rates.

Hey, I've had zero problems with mine. I understand they work better if you make sure you get the shielded cables.

I picked up a belkin 2 port with audio & USB openbox at best buy last week for.....79 bux! Regular price was 139 or 149 I think.😀😀😀
Newegg sells some cheaper ones, but im not sure of the quality.
