$1 million to give up your friends?

Found this on another forum and thought it was an interesting question.

you get $1 million, but you have to lose all of your friends and can never build another friendship ever again. you can have acquaintances, but no close friends. you can have a good convo with people, but only once per person and that's it. your family will also become distant to you. you also can't have any romantic relationships. you can however pay for hookers but you also can't see them more than once. basically you lose all important social interaction in your life for $1 million. you can buy anything you want almost, but the world will be a lonely place for you.

Money to me means a nice house, big speakers and not having to work.

I have a decent house, I can live with a $200 pair of bookshelves and work doesn't bother me much. I'll keep my friends - few they are, but they are all I got. You can't replace love.

A million doesn't go THAT far. Add a couple zero's and its worth consideration, even then though, I don't think I'd do it.

Never have any more friends, either? Sheesh. As Kur said, add some more zeroes and I'll start considering it. Yeah it'd be a sucky life, but lots of money does have the ability to do a lot of good, even for the effective sacrifice of one life.

My family is amazing and I love them but they cannot replace a best friend/spouse.
