I installed the google toolbar and it accesses this path:

C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\Conflict.1\Googlenav.dll

I have protected and hidden files ALL showing but explorer will not show the folder Conflict.1

anybody know the way microsoft is hiding this folder ???????????????????????????????????

If you do a search for "Conflict" on your C drive, does it find this folder?
Or does it just try and create the folder when needed?
Ive no idea, just throwin ideas out ofr $1mil!!!

Yes, its called "ShowSuperHidden" in the Registry.

Look for it here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Set it from "0" value to "1" and ALL files will be shown. The Command Prompt also can display all files if you type "DIR /a"

Now, how are you going to send my 1,000,000 dollars?

I have that registry setting at "1" but the folder isn't showing.

The folder is found using tree size pro 2 but explorer won't display it at all, it's still hidden.

Rebooted still not showing the folder "conflict.1" not sure why it remains hidden there must be a special way M$ has for hiding folders.

$1 million dollars still unclaimed

What OS you using?
If you're using windows XP, try doing, Tools -> Folder Options -> Click on the View tab -> Click on show hidden files and folders, then you should see 2 checkboxes after that, the second should be Hide protected operating system files. Uncheck that, click apply, ok
and refresh the folder. You should see the folder

Hope that helps
Good Luck

Thanks for trying but that is NOT it, I am using Windows XP and have used computers for years so I know my way around windows. I've been using Windows XP since early betas.

Agian these folders just remain hidden with the usuall unhide methods.

you know any DOS commands?
if so goto START --> RUN
type in CMD then click OK
from the console type
CD\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\Conflict.1

that should put you in the CONFLICT.1 folder
now type DIR/A - this will show you all the folders & files
you can delete the GOOGLENAV.DLL by typing DEL GOOGLENAV.DLL

this help?

As I said:

Although its kinda the same as "ShowSuperHidden" there is no way this can't work.
But..."conflict.1" should show if pagefile.sys is showing in Explorer (which is a "SuperHidden" file)

Unless there is another level.. "UltraHidden"?
