I sold my gtx 570 today. Now ive plugged the monitor to my motherboard builtin graphics ( p8h61mle ) . Im getting no signal with the beeps on startup.....

Ive one stick....changed slots also. I first cleared cmos by removing battery then second time i did it by jumper method.. note i dont have any gpu, monitor is only connected to onboard vga. The pcie connector cables of my psu are unconnected , not connected to anything since they are of no use now. Yesterday when i had my gtx 570 , everything was wrkin fine.

For that particular Asus mobo, 1 long and 3 short does = Graphics card issue.

1.4.2.2 Graphics card issue: Beep (1 long 3 short)

So be sure CMOS is cleared. (as suggested)
What cpu do you have?
And what resoution is the monitor and what cable are you using to hookup to monitor?

Have you tried a DVI cable instead?
(Im going by the pics on Newegg that you have both DVI and VGA hookups)

Never used a dvi cable. Been using vga from the very start without any problems. Dont have a dvi though

UPDATE: pattern is recently now 1 long 3 short *pause* 1 short beep....

Well, we're all assuming you know that the reason we keep stating about clearing the CMOS is that is what should reset the motherboard to use the integrated graphics.

The fact that you're still getting a Graphics Card beep error code indicates the motherboard is still looking at the PCI-E slot for video , which it shouldn't after clearing the CMOS.

Is that extra beep a post beep maybe?
Can you tell if the pc is indeed posting and booting by watching the hard drive light , hearing feeling hard drive activity going through the boot process? (in other words, can you tell if is posting/booting normally with just no actual video on-screen)

Of course that is just a guess since you weren't getting that extra beep before re-seating hardware, so it could be something else not being re-seated correctly after doing that.

What i don't understand is.it was working fine before removing the card.so i would double check all connection.if that don't work reset CMOS again by holding the power button for ten sec.

memory / PCI-E slot failure can sometimes be caused by a mis seated CPU.

Reinstall the CPU... check CPU pins on board to make sure they are not bent.

Is there an option in BIOS to disable external graphics cards? Not even sure you could see that though. I would pull the CMOS battery for 5 minutes.

Clear the CMOS this way: unplug power from Power Supply, pull RTC Battery, move CMOS clear jumper to clear position. wait a couple minutes, move jumper back to regular position, install battery, plug in power supply and boot.

Check CPU seating and pins on the socket. You may just need to throw in a low end PCIE vga if the onboard vga is toast.
