1 gig router/ good security

I have a Netgear WNR 3500 but i want something that uses 1 gig for the wired portion, i only use wireless for PS3. I am interested in one that keeps extensive logs so i can block ip address, the netgear only keeps logs when my pc is running, not when it is off or in sleep mode. Thanks!
 
Thanks, 200 would be the max; i also looked at the DIR 655. I would like a strong firewall and extensive logging. I only have a home network and PS3, which utilizes the wireless. Has anybody used the smooth firewall application? i was considering building a cheap setup to install this and would appreciate any feedback for it. 😎
 
dunno i have the ole wrt-600n. works great with brainslayer dd-wrt. not much you can not do with.

i'd put a switch in front of the router if possible. leave the l3/l2 to the switch and let the router route but thats just me.
