1 GB of RAM

Getting the OCZ platinum, which is the better route. I don't plan on it, but would it mostly depend on if I add more in the future?

I may be incorrect here, but I suspect the 512mb dimms are more overclockable than the 1024 ones.

True, but if he wants to ugrade to 2gbs, it would be best to have a single stick so that he would not have to run at 2T.

Yep, pretty soon 2GB is gonna be the sweet spot. I love being at 2GB on my machine at home! :thumbsup:

I think 2 gb is the sweet spot now with BF2 and FEAR.
