I've been having a weird problem on a friend of mine's rig. It's been running abnormally slow lately, and I was tinkering around trying to find the problem. Under the system tab it only shows 256 MB of ram; however, in CPU-Z the full gig is properly being displyed.
I've tried scanning for viruses, spyware, adjusting the page file, but only having 256 megs definitely would explain the sluggishness.
Oh and his rig:
A64 3200+ Clawhammer CG
Epox 8KDA3
1 GB Geil Ultra PC4000
Anybody have an idea of the problem? I'm completely stumped.
