Well I just took my first final at 8am today in Computer Vision class. I think I did okay on it, definitely passed the course probably with a B. Now I just have 1 more final that is tomorrow at 8am and I AM DONE WITH COLLEGE!!!

however tomorrow I HAVE to do well on the exam in order to graduate. and by well I mean atleast about an 80 or so because I bombed the previous exam bigtime. I am just glad my finals were on the first 2 days of finals starting because I will be done with school tomorrow and alot of people dont even start finals till tomorrow or saturday, and they run until next wednesday.

well wish me luck studyin! i think i'm gonna pull an all nighter cause it's at 8am tomorrow mornin, and i really have problems going to sleep earlier than 2am or 3am, and i have even MORE trouble sleeping if I know I have to get up early.

My thoughts exactly. You should be really depressed, especially if your planning to sucome to work for Big Corporate America!

No I am VERY VERY happy! I do not like school and I honestly don't know if I would have gone if I wasn't kinda pressured by my parents and family. I just have never liked school. Don't get me wrong, I had great times in college ... but after 5 years I am just sick of it! I live off campus now and I only go to campus to go to classes, and sometimes lift weights. I go to Bally's sometimes instead of campus just because I'm sick the school. The gym on campus is like 100x nicer than bally's also. I hate going to the very dull 'college town' with weak bars and not much else to do.

I will be so relieved when its all over!!! And btw ... I go to UMD, University of Maryland College Park.

There's your problem. You're living off campus.

Indubitably. I wish I lived the college life (without the work) forever.

Living off-campus is like going to high school... work and home... nothing else... you have no "college experience". I recommend everyone dorm at least a year no matter how close you live so long as you can afford it.

I lived on campus for 4 years. After 4 years, you don't get housing guaranteed. Like I said ... I had some great times in college. I am just ready to move on :)

SO THE TRUTH FINALLY COMES OUT!
;)

Eh, if I could go back to a point in my life, I'd go back to my freshman year in college. It was so much fun and I didnt mind the classes too much. There was this bar that would let you in if you had a college id (closed down for some reason though, i dont remember why), then after the bar, the entire floor would order bagels from an all night bagel delivery place... we had a feud with the second floor blokes (we were first floor). I had a girl that lived on the third floor for a while... played acey deucy in the rooms all hours, held weekly movie nights that ran till 4am...

Oh, I miss the days.

Of course, I'm married now, so there's pluses and minuses!

Did you go to UMD also? Cause there was a place there Terrapin Station, that closed down like 2 years before I went to college for letting in underage people. And i heard that they let anyone in with a college ID.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I don't hvae a job lined up or anything yet, but I currently have a job I have had at a grocery store for 8 years (I have had other jobs simultaneously w/this grocery store job), but I am not exactly sure. My brother's friend knows someone who works at Beth Softworks so that would be a cool place to start :). He also has a friend who knows someone at this other game company that is located in D.C., but I have no clue what the company is. I am going to start looking hardcore after I am done w/college. I know I should have already started looking, but school and work kept me busy enough.

btw ... i'm comp sci major. I hope eventually to get into doing something with movies, like special effects or SOMETHING ...

Naw, I went to Marist starting in 1996... The bar was called Berties. :) I'm guessing that bars getting shut down for underage drinking is pretty common around Colleges.
