Not exactly great prices on some of them. That Dell 18" has right around $400 a few times already. Just seems wrong to pay $554 for it now.

Too bad the 18" Dell isn't on sale. I've been holding out on picking up a couple of these. I'm hoping that $384 price comes around again. I've got my hopes up since it seems they haven't been discounting these at all in a while. Hopefully they'll have a nice deal soon.

Just to let you know, the NEC 1760NX (biege) is $455 on newegg with free fedex shipping. I ordered it after dell shafted me on the two 15% coupons at Dell SB a week ago. It's more or less the same as the Planar PX171, both have DVI, 16ms response, etc. The analog only version costs $419 shipped i believe (biege).

i got the planar px171m about a week ago for $407 after fat cash and coupons, and love it. just waiting on my dvi card now to make it perfect. the monitor has some slight ghosting at first when it's vga, but once you play with the resolution and brightness, it looks a lot better. there are a lot of controls on there though.

Just got my PX191 in yesterday from the last deals from DELL SB. Good lord the brightness level is high on this sucker.....ive got it turned all the way down to 0 and at around 50 for contrast. It looks great!!!! Not a single dead or stuck pixel! :D
The only ghosting ive noticed was in RTC Wolfenstein. It shows up slightly when you move around quickly. (like spinning around the mouse)

i was almost not going to get this b/c incase dell SB had another 30% off, but i believe that would be $385 + tax though = $415 for me...so this is decent. not hot though as newegg is only $50 more...

Yeah, I think you just convinced me to go with the vp171b too! Just gotta wait till the next deal on monitors goes through, probably next week I'm assuming. Maybe 15% + $35 coupon... *crosses fingers*
