I'm going to be in Tuscon for 5 days in April. I have no idea what to do after my work is done.

Tucson has no In and Out - still under construction. We have no krispy kreames as they are all closed up.
ElCorral or PinnaclePeak are great places for a good steak in a country atmosphere
There are some really good sammich/food places on a street called 4th avenue a few blocks down from campus going towards downtown on 6th...get a ton of food for a few dollars at places like bisonwitches, bumsteads, epic cafe. There kinda hole in the wall places but jsut walking down the road theres a ton of stuff to see/eat and see performances by druken homeless peaople and tons of emo kids. A ways up the street is university st which has a buncha hippie cafes and college hangouts.

El Sur, Craycroft/ 22nd St
La Herrradura, St Mary's/Grande Ave
Maya Quetzle, 4th Ave near 6th St (very close to campus)
Gandhi's, Ft Lowell/Stone
Indian Oven, Campbell/Glenn, not as good as Gandhi's but still good, and closer to campus.
Little Mexico, Irvington/South 6th Ave
TTT Truck Stop I-10 at Craycroft (really)
Juanitos, Grant west of Oracle Rd (neighborhood might go to hell at night, not sure, only have eaten there in daylight.)

I haven't been there in years but the last time I was there on business we had dinner one night at a place called Fuego's and it was a very good meal. I'd recommend it. :thumbsup:
