1 connection in my room

so we moved into a new house, and its prewired for ethernet so we have our router and modem in the basement. but in my bedroom i have my pc, ps2, and xbox, is it possible to split the connection even though there is already a router in the picture?
 
You can plug in a simple hub/switch or a second router in your room to share that one connection between the PC and the game systems. A switch would probably be the best option if you have other computers in the house that you need to connect to from this room.
 
Back in the bad old days of hubs that would have been a somewhat troublesome thing to do; but these days a basic 5 port switch, yours for dirt cheap anywhere, will solve your problem.
