Has it been around for awhile?

Screw Cingular and their $1.75/call for 411.

Just had to sit through 1-2 short commercials and thats it... def. worth the time IMO...

It's definately been around a while. Saw a hot deals thread on it a while back and that's when I found out about it.

The problem with this and other free 411 (411-METRO) is they have 3 operators so I usually get a busy signal most times!

i usually get connected within a minute...with FREE-411

OP, i've been using it for a while. it's awesome. i guess the reason you haven't heard about it is it's not like they got tons of money for their one advertisement per call so they can't really advertise....

another good thing about it is if you forget the phone number you were given and call back within a certain amount of time, their system recognizes you and asks if you want the last number requested to be repeated. no commercial for the repeat.

I've been utilizing this service for a couple years now, very handy. All you have to do is listen to some advertisement before they give you the number.
