So I'm on the phone with xbox support trying to get my xbox warrantied. Been putting this off for a few months because I knew it was going to be a massive pain to make the phone call. So far I've been on about an hour. I've just about wrapped it up and am giving the service guy my postal code so he can ship me the box.

Him: postal code please.

him: let me confirm that...

L as in Lime

after i called that # when my first 360 broke i learned my lesson to just use the online service to repair when my 2nd one went .

took 2 weeks from the time i made the claim on there until i had my 360 back.

online thing doesn't work for everyone. Check the xbox forums. there's tons of complaints. I can register any of my systems. Tells me to call in, I call and ask they say they don't know. Joy.

anyhow I had to suffer with the occasional moron but I just look at world clock and see when India/Asia for the most part asleep then I call. Not just microsoft but pretty much every company except IBM. I know I'll always get an US person.

So I just used the online link that purbeast0 posted. Under warranty status it says: Out of Warranty.


I thought all of the 360's had extended 3 year warranty's because of the failure rates? Can someone explain to me why mine would be out of warranty? I bought it from another AT member about a year ago.

Its only 3 years for the red ring of death. Everything else has just one year.
