I just bought a Lenovo X301 that uses a 1.8" drive. I'd like to know if anyone has opinons on SSD's that with that size enclosure.

I was looking at the Toshiba THNSNC128GMMJ but i don't know how it compares to a Crucial C300 128GB or the Samsung 128GB it comes with.

I haven't seen many options for the 1.8" drives. I usually do my shopping on Newegg.com

I've heard Kingston drives can be ok. More of the middle of the pack type of perfomance. I don't trust any SSDs OCZ puts out or drives that use the sandforce controller. When Intel can't fix all the firmware issues you know there's problems, lol.

I trust Samsung, Crucial and Intel (non-Sandforce) SSD's. I've got at least 1 of each and they've performed well and been very reliable.

I looked at Toshiba based drives back when i was getting my first SSD (Intel X-25m G2) and they looked ok for the time but were very hard to find. I've seen quite a few for sale in the 1.8" form factor with 128GB size for a pretty good price. Just no idea how well they really perform or how reliable they are
