Ever thought of a SSD? I have a 30gb ocz vertex I got on sale 120 dollars 20 rebate that I am using for my OS. I'm am very impressed with the drive. I will never go back to mechanical drives. It is seriously that good. By the way not to make you mad but on microcenter.com they had core i7 920's for 200 US dollars the other day store pickup only. America is great. Your build looks solid.

I agree with OILFIELDTRASH about SSD. I have 60GB Vertex and I love it - I used Seagate baracuda 7200.12 500GB for my OS before I bought SSD and difference is huge.
