Is it good?

the pizza is good but damn, that just seems outrageous for toppings. to get pepperoni, extra cheese and mushrooms costs half what the pizza costs!

Yeah, that's typically max I'll pay.

Althought most places around my area have two-medium, one or two-toppings for $15.

depends on on the joint.

of the few none name brand places. most is $17 for a larg deep dish works pizza (or meat lovers type).

Is it pesos?

Meat is more expensive than the cheese and sauce and dough that normally make up a pizza. It seems expensive, but it's not as bad as you think.

Of course when you get 3 or 4 toppings, you're really ending up with less of each topping so you should be charged less.

And veggies are way cheaper than meat, but most places charge the same price.

my own experience is that the large chains are cheap but lack quality. the smaller places are better but more expensive.

Costco has a 16" square pizza for $8 if you cook it yourself!!!

18" extra large - 18.95 + 2.25 per topping
16" large - 16.95 + 2.00 per topping
14" medium - 14.95 + 1.75 per topping
12" small - 12.95 + 1.50 per topping

I've always thought of the large chains as being expensive (~$15 for a 14" large) vs local places ($8-10 for a 16" large). Although you can get chain pizza for much less with a special or coupon (i.e. the 5-5-5 deal)

That's crazy.

That's normal price and not that expensive. If you want cheap and crappy pizza, order Dominos, Pizza Hut, or Papa Johns with coupon. Good pizzas cost more just like anything else.

Costco pizza is not good pizza. Only thing good about is the quantity and the price.

High quality cheese, pepperoni and sausage are expensive. Of course your local place could be using the prepackaged cheap stuff and then it's not worth the money.

You are also in a college town. Your pizza prices do not apply to the real world.

EDIT: I also paid $10 for a 20in 1 topping when I was in college.

Seems a bit high.

My roommates used to order the local pizza joint special when we used to play EQ every weekend. 2 large 2 topping pizza + 2 2-liters of coke for $22.00 + tip = $27.00 or so bucks.
