I have a HP tablet 2730p which takes a 1.7" hard drive. I have a Intel SSD in it now but I cannot seem to find anyone that makes a newer ssd in bigger sizes than the current 80GB drive that I have. I have tried searching google but cannot come up with anything is there just no one that makes one any longer?

Thanks again I knew someone here would be able to answer it. I looked up the specs on my old Intel x18 and I swore it was 1.7 but it is indeed 1.8 inches hence the model number lol.

Never been 1.7.

Only difference to 1.8 is if they are 7m or 9mm tall.

Apparently looking at the model number it was 1.8 I don't know where in my brain I got that it was 1.7.

1.8 are 3.3V drives. there are some on amazon warehousedeals usually cheap.

I've got an X18-m with a 5V to 3.3V step-down in a laptop (2.5") because the price was awesome.

X18-m was original on the 2730p that I had.
