Plugged it in and watched it go.

Asus P4B533-VM
Retail 1.6A with a date of 5/20/02
512MB Samsung True 2700 (6ns)
ATI Radeon 8500 128MB
WD800JB
In-Win L545 uATX case (180W PS)

Running Prime95
48C/118F CPU Temp
37C/98F Case Temp

800Mhz for free is a nice thing...

NewEgg is where I got it.

As I say in the topic title of this thread, RAM is running at 150Mhz.

I can't adjust CPU temp, so it's at the stock 1.5V. I imagine if I could raise the voltage, I could go even higher.

I think the code for the country of origin is buried in the FPO/Batch number or something like that. You have to look it up.

hmmmm...you can't adjust vcore on a p4b533-vm??? are you sure?
you definitely can't adjust cpu temp, but you should be able to adjust cpu vcore

Positive. Unless I am blind and my 9 years of building systems has accelerated me into incompetence, I saw no voltage adjustments whatsoever in my P4B533-VM BIOS.

FunGuy, country is on the heat spreader on the chip, pack date is on the side of the retail box.
HTH 🙂
