1.6a or 1.8a? sure 133mhz? or not???

Hi im from the Philippines.. I have 2 very good deals on both chips.. Basically in terms of dollar to peso ratio.. the diff will only be 10$ for both chips.. ex: $127 for the 1.8a w choice of stock fan or avc sunflower.. then 1.6a $117w stock retail fan only... question are both chips going to oc w fsb to 133 easily? or no guarantee? or will it depend on the pack date etc? any marking i should check on the proc itself to identify if its good for oc or not? i just want to conservative oc.. for stability purposes.just a simple 133fsb bump... are both guaranteed 133??? i capture vid using my vid card only.. i hope this is not affected..the capture process..since pci is increased.. but ive had luck so far using 140/35 on my xp(1800+)1900+.. w/c one would be better???? also.. w/c is better kingston 256mb 333ddr 5ns or samsung 256mb 333ddr ut 6ns??? dont know the exact specs of the memory.. but w/c would oc better? ill keep my kingmax ddr on the xp any advice will be greatly aprreciated.

They both should get to 133FSB, the 1.6a forsure.... well it depends on your system, and how high of a Vcore your willing to risk. I know some 1.6s can OC to 2.5-2.7, and 1.8s to around 2.53-2.8.... Post your system
I would go with the 1.6a, just because its so overclockable 🙂

system not yet complete... only have p4s533 mobo...parts still deciding on are... proc.(1.8a or 1.6a) + memory ( thinking about samsung ddr333 256mb or kingston ddr333 256mb (but 5ns) or just use my kingmax 333ddr 256mb... + psu will use hec 300w first...

Go with a 1.8A, they're newer and OC higher than the 1.6As, since Intel discontinued the 1.6As a few months ago. Better yet, wait until Sept. 1st when Intel will slash chip prices, and your odds of getting one of the new sl68Qs (die-shrunk) will be higher 🙂

where can i see these markings? "sl68Q" s on the chip itself???or the box? what other batches are good oc'ers? thanks.. 300w psu hec enough to power the 1.8a to 133 fsb?
