Keep the Big Lie up front and steamrolling right into the mid-terms where "getting revenge" for having "their" election stolen from "them" will be the battle cry for every election loss they suffer from now into eternity.

The Blue Wave has become, as they see it, a CAT 10 blue hurricane threatening to wipe out "their" American way of life or so they're being incessantly told by their leadership, who see their positions of power and influence being threatened by the fickle fate of demographics and a surge in the acknowledgement of the masses that the party of, by and for the very wealthy is dead set on keeping them in a position of servitude.

Yes, it's called an election cycle. We have Federal Congressional elections every 2 years and Presidential elections every 4 years. We just don't call them "coups" , we call them elections.
OP was not talking about the election cycle, he was talking about the January 6th capitol insurrection.

The thread topic is about how Trump and the Republicans are still trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

No, it's about what a MSNBC host is claiming is happening. I disagree with his assessment and take the opinion that this is just a election cycle, even if it is atypical. Good old school try though.

And you're lying again. As we've already discussed in another thread, Republicans are using the 2020 election loss to justify stripping away the right to vote from millions of legal American citizens. And if that doesn't lead to GOP victory in the next election cycles, then Republicans are planning a violent civil war.
You can keep lying all you want, but everyone sees what you're doing, and we're not stupid. Especially when Republicans are very open about all this, from unlawful audits of only Democratic-majority precincts, to blatantly unfair election practices that favor GOP strongholds, to everyday Fox news and social media comments declaring liberalism as treason, to Trump's unhinged rallies calling for violence and civil war to thunderous cheers and applause.
Your ilk wants a king and the end of the Republic.

Yeh, an outgoing President hurling an angry mob against Congress while they're certifying the election results is perfectly normal, as are all the machinations beforehand & continuing to this day.

The coup is what Trump tried to do after the election. Read the Senate report

That's bullshit, what new laws are Republicans proposing that are "stripping away the right to vote from millions of legal Americans" ???

Lawful audits is another thread.

and seriously "then Republicans are planning a violent civil war" ???
Looney Tunes territory there.

Everything the Republican party of traitors is doing is to set the stage to overthrow democracy in 2024 if they can't win by suppressing it enough between now and then

Just in case you forgot.

I disagree with this stand, stripping the right to vote from felons isn't politics, it's merely a safeguard that convicted criminals don't sell what may be their only thing of value. So i call bullshit on the idea that Republicans are trying to strip the vote from millions.

Your ability to deny the clear reality in front of you is impressive. Even more impressive is there are TENS of millions of sick people like you in the country.

Why should a felon that served their time not be able to vote?

It depends on the crime committed and if the time has been served completely. I would leave it up to the States to make the decision for themselves as long as adequate safeguards are in place.

Republicans have fought to keep all felons who have served their time from being able to vote even when a state population voted on referendum to allow them to vote. Your party is so corrupt it's insane

Yep, we're all assholes because we think criminals, rapists, murderers, child molesters and muggers should actually be punished and not given rewards for the crimes they commit.

Unlike Democrats that want them to be bailed out, back on the streets to commit more crimes.

Your insane thought process is amazing. If a felon pays the price of their crime via a prison sentence, they should get their rights back, until if they violate the law again. You have made zero cognizant argument why after serving the punishment society deemed appropriate for their crime, they should be made into permanent second class citizens without certain rights. Do you propose all felons serve life in prison?

Yet again you prove how disgusting your thought process is, and of your entire corrupt party of filth.

Republicans dream of creating entire groups of second class citizens. Brown people, black people, a permanent poor working class, and felons who served their time.

What a great group of people.

What? You get your panties in a bunch when i unleash hyperbolic bullshit about what the Democrats want and do, but when you do it about Republicans it's perfectly OK?

Frankly it's just the other side of a coin.
