1.6 actual volts too much for a winnie?

Reguardless of what it says in the BIOS, what does CPU-Z and your MOBO software read?

1.6V isn't very scary at all..

Multiple windows proggies..

I have seen certain BIOS report different volts, but CPU/Z and Core Center for me actually being accurate.. I have flashed through about 4 or 5 BIOS for the NEo2 and temps and volts are sometimes different.

well, it depends on when you are going to upgrade. if you wont upgrade the processor it more than 5 years, its really not a good idea. however, im sure you will, so its perfectly fine. also, if you dont feel guilty easily, you can always just rma it, if you have a warrantee. i know a lot of people here dont believe in that, but if you do....

interesting. my sli-dr always reads about .02 low in bios and .06 low in windows from my set volts. but the windows proggies (cpu-z, speedfant, ite) all read the same.

is there a place on the mobo to check that with a dmm like the vdimm i wonder?

Ya that's perfect..

I would agree with Duvie about 1.65, things start to get more interesting around 1.65+

That HAS to be photoshopped. Otherwise, there would be a major WR thread. The next highest AMD would be the one at like about 4 GHz, over at Xtreme.
