Looking for a 1.5 card for the following system:

2.4 ghz P4
Soyo Dragon 2 Plat Ed
256 DDR 400mhz Ram
80gb HD and 40gb HD
OS is win2k Pro and all service packs

need alittle help in sort all the cards, having trouble finding the voltage on some cards, 8x AGP would be nice!

1st of all, welcome to the forums FeWolf. You didn't mention how much you wanted to spend so I'll say not alot. I'd go with the ATI RADEON 9600 XT but don't grab it quite yet. Because it doesn't beat the 'old' RADEON 9700 Pro ATI is ramping up the core clock for thier next batch. All AGP 8X and 4X video cards will run on 1.5v.🙂

Agp 8x uses .8v. You can still use a .8v card with a 1.5v mobo, but if will default back to agp 4x. Don't worry though, there is practically no loss in performance between 4x and 8x.

huh?? i could have sworn both 4x and 8x are both 1.5v, while 1x,2x are both 3.3v
