Hey all,
sorry if this has been discussed before, but I lost patience with the search feature on the forum. Anyway so I have a soyo K7VME motherboard as part of a barebones kit, and I wanted to upgrade the video card. So, the slot says it only accept 1.5V video cards, an I thought this meant that anything that can do AGP 4X or 8X. I bought a radeon 9800 pro, and well, it doesn't fit properly. So I'm confused, what kind of video card can i get for this machine? Why isn't the 9800 pro a 1.5V card? Thanks for any help you can provide.

PROBLEM SOLVED:
Well this isn't going to rank among my proudest moments, but I tried putting the card in again after examining the slot, and it fits fine. I guess I just misaligned it the first time and thought it didn't fit. Hey better to be safe than sorry right? ;)

agp 2x 3.3 volts
agp 4x 1.5 volts
agp 8x 0.8 volts

4x is backwards compatible with 3.3 volts i believe, and 8x is backwards compatible with 1.5 volts. so yea, u wont bust anything

Just for reference, the ATI AGP FAQ (wow, TLA city) is here. (I found this thread while searching on behalf of a friend, so it may help others.)
