I have a local seller selling this processor for a very low price but its been at 1.55V for most of its life...

Can I expect this thing to last me roughly a year?

There's no way to know ahead of time. The effects of added vcore are cumulative. But, just because my 930 lasted for 6 years at 1.55v, doesn't mean that yours will last two years, or even one at that same voltage. Of course, the chances are that it will last ~1 year, or longer. There are no guarantees in overclocking, though. Not in Ghz, and not in longevity.

QFT.

Also there are more chances that it will last longer if u used lower voltage, then again it could not. As far as i know the preslers are 65nm chips their stock voltage is bellow 1.4volts. If it was a 90nm chip i would prolly not worry too much, but that seems awfully high voltage for those chips.
