1.5 sata in 3.0 system

I have an old Asus p5ad2 premium with Sata 1, and my sata drives are all 1.5 (2 old raptors, a 2 250gb).

If I upgrade the mobo to support sata 2, but keep the old drives, is that going to slow everything down?
