I have an Athlon 1.33 overclocked to 1.522 Ghz (10.5 * 145) with Glaciator fan and a case HALF-OPEN.

Full load is 52 C with case temp at 25 C.
Is this too hot?

It is around 45 C just in Windows (case temp still around 25 C).
Vcore is at 1.9v.

All temps came from the built-in motherboard's (Epox 8K7A+) thermal sensors.

Could this mean my application of Arctic Silver II was poor and I need to re-apply it?

52 is fine you won't start to see problems until you get to around 60C.

What about the IDLE of 45 C? That just seems kind of hot, most people here have 35 C or so - and I'm using a very good cooler (Glaciator)..

VBboy:

Remember different mobo's have different ways of sensing CPU temps... so other people getting 35C on their mobo doesnt mean it's the actual temp... it all depends on where the sensor is placed and what algorithm the mobo use...

so in other words, do not compare your temp with other people's temps unless they are using the same mobo as u are...
