Just want to say that the complaints about Yelp and Twitter are a little ridiculous. Local Scout and Twitter are literally built into the OS and work flawlessly. Checking in is also integrated in the OS.

If the Twitter integration isn't sufficient, there are around 29358735 third party Twitter clients that have great reviews.

Agreed, With Local Scout, Yelp is pretty much unnecessary, and streamlined. Twitter is part of the Peoples Hub.

Okay, so Local Scout brings the list of places, but can you look at review highlights like Yelp?

Also it doesn't do Yelp Checkin does it?

What kind of Checkins does the Social hub tile do? I thought its Bing Checkins or whatever, and I really don't care about that. I only care about 4sq and Yelp.

For 4sq, the 4th and Mayor App is pretty good, and the official 4sq app is ok too, but neither allow checkin to a show. I remember checking in for the Avengers premier, and I swapped out SIM with my Android phone just to check into the show specifically. I know. 4sq addict here, but I think this just goes to show that iOS and Android will get updates first (with iOS usually getting the first one), WP7 can be a few days or weeks or months behind.
