Hello there,
I just wanted to run my system across your guys and see if it sounds ok to you.
The 1.4mhz Athlon Tbird is running at 47 idle, 53.5 max under 100% load(ripping divx)

System specs:
- I get the temp from Compunurse temp gauge taped directly to the processor right next to the core.
- Epox 8k7a mobo - It's temps read 41 idle and 46 under 100%
- Evercase 4252
- Clear globe 120mm fan intake on the front
- Panaflo 80mm L1A intake on side
- Panaflo 80mm L1A exhaust on back and in PS
- Generic heatsink 60mm fan with artic silver 3 ( it's looks a bit like a Volcano 6cu)

I have a Thermaltake 7(non-plus) in transit right now, hoping that may help out a bit.
I also have a baybus fanbus on the way, doesn't look like I'll get much use out of it though unless I upgrade the fans to higher speeds.

Let me know what you think!

47C is little high, good HSF will do the job well. I use GlobalWin FOP-32, mine is running at 41 idle

Epox 8k7a
TB 1.4 +artic silver II
InWin case
Panaflo 80mm L1A intake
Panaflo 80mm L1A exhaust

Thanks for the replies. After about 2 or 3 days, the idle temp dropped to 45 and the 100% was around 50.

I just put a thermaltake volcano 7 on there, now it's idleing around 43.5 and around 47.5

I will assume that once the artic silver 3 settles a bit that it will lower again.
