1/4 inch Stereo Jack (Female) to 3.5mm Stereo Plug (Male) Adapter

I need one of these, but a little different.

I have one like that, but the problem I have is that the jack on my speaker is recessed and the adapter is too wide to fit into the recessed space. I have to use a 3.5mm female to male extension cable to make it fit. This makes the cord super long (which i don't need) and also the extension is not very good quality and doesn't hold the cable together very well.

Is there an adapter with a slim 3.5mm end?

or maybe a 3.5mm female to 3.5mm male adapter might work?

I haven't seen any adapters that would fit your needs. maybe a shorter extension cable?
