Actually the 55C isn't all that bad unless your room temp is pretty low.

Which Taisol? And how hot is your room? And how many case fans?

You could PM Mikewarrior2 and he would have more specifics about the socket thermistor on that board. Whether it reads higher than others or lower.

.....edit......
P.S. your rig link is to the wrong page I think.

fixed the link... but about the problem...

i live in cali so its pretty hot here.. no ac or anything.. 85+ maybe even 90... it wont go above 53 C when under load so thats pretty good..

duno about the thermometer on the board.. its an epox so if anyone knows how well that thermastat takes the temp let me know.. i have 2 case fans on my antec sx1030b... one in the front taking in air and one on the back pushing it out.. my air flow probably could be better.. but ive had other problems that i was trying to take care of first.. just curious about my temp here. thanks

With only 2 fans in a 1030, try putting them both in the back blowing out. It's the "stock" configuration, and should give slightly better airflow/case temps. The small difference between idle and load temps pretty much indicates high ambient as the problem, though- try testing it early in the morning, when the house/apartment is coolest.

Unless that's not full load- running prime 95 or one of the distributed clients (Seti, Folding, RC5) will accomplish that.

That`s not too bad,I would stick another two fans in your Antec case, if you are worried about noise you can buy some quiet ones, have two blowing in the front and two sucking air out in the back.
