I recently bought an Iwill 266ka plus mobo with a 1.4 amd cpu & 128 megs of DDR Name brand Memory running in cas 2. My problem is that I can not get my cpu to run at 1.4 ghz. I set the jumper on the mobo to 133 fsb. When I boot up, i get an check sum error. I go into the bios to mess with the settings (fsb) and the computer locks up. What are the settings in the bios? What am i doing wrong?

A 400watt power supply is being used.

You should just need to put the jumper on the 133mhz postion...leave the FSB setting in the bios on default. The default multiplier on the 1.4ghz 266mhz FSB chip is 10.5. The board will default to 100mhz (200mhz effective) FSB, so that's why you are running @ 1050mhz (10.5 x 100 = 1050). If you run 133mhz, it will be @ 1400 (10.5 x 133 = 1400).
